Sandy Brown - New Business Coordinator
Like the financial institutions we serve, we know that the foundation and strength of our company hinges upon the quality of our employees. FICC's personnel are leaders in the industry and include CPAs, attorneys, and financial analysts with extensive expertise in regulatory, tax and accounting considerations for executive compensation plans.
Larry P. Chinn, J. D. - President & Chief Executive Officer
In 1988, Mr. Chinn created FICC and established it as a preeminent leader of non-qualified deferred compensations plans. As the President and CEO, Mr. Chinn oversees legal, accounting and compliance, and underwriting issues of the benefit plans. It is Mr. Chinn's firm belief that the success of a non-qualified plan rests on communication with the plan participants; therefore, Mr. Chinn makes himself widely available to plan participants to answer their questions.
Prior to founding FICC, Mr. Chinn served as CEO of another bank consulting firm, where he provided a full range of consulting services with emphasis on employee benefit and executive compensation planning, as well as the formulation of bank holding companies. In private law practice, he focused on financial institution regulatory law, executive compensation planning, and securities and tax litigation. He has been a frequent lecturer at seminars for financial institutions, and has authored several published articles on ESOP planning for financial institutions. He earned salutatorian honors with both his undergraduate degree and law degree at the University of Memphis.
Katie Marchini - Chief Operations Officer & Chief Marketing Officer
Ms. Marchini directs the operations of FICC’s premium financing division and coordinates the activities consistent with the FICC’s objectives and policies. In addition, she heads up FICC’s marketing plans. She works with our clients and our marketing representatives to ensure their complete satisfaction with our programs.
Ms. Marchini has been with FICC since 2005. She graduated from the University of Memphis with a B.A.
Ronny Ketchum, CPA - Senior Financial Analyst
As the Senior Financial Analyst at FICC, Mr. Ketchum is responsible for designing many of the benefit programs, working with the insurance carriers on product design, and ensuring our clients understand the programs and are satisfied with the benefits they are receiving. Prior to joining FICC, Mr. Ketchum served as the Vice President of a community bank with over 15 years of bank experience and 11 years of experience working with the bank’s insurance agency. Mr. Ketchum is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Mississippi State University with a degree in accounting.
Adam Remsen, J.D. - Associate General Counsel
Mr. Remsen is an attorney working in plan design, legal compliance, and marketing for FICC. He ensures that plans are designed properly and meet the requirements of applicable law. He also creates sales materials and drafts documents, and provides general legal advice.
Mr. Remsen holds a B.A. from the University of Georgia, and an M.A. and J.D. from the University of Memphis. He is a member of the Memphis and Tennessee Bar Associations, and the Tennessee Association for Justice.
